Deb is a Registered Social Worker who brings integrated approaches to
both the Counselling she offers and the Facilitation that she does. She holds
a Master’s Degree from the University of Victoria, a Bachelor of Education
from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Arts from Trent University.
As a Facilitator, she is passionate about teaching skills that help people
build resiliency. Deb has a broad range of experience developing and
delivering programs for young people, adults and other professionals. She
also has also built relationships and partnerships throughout her career as
a community volunteer. She given of her time to community governance in
both health and education over the past 15 years and continues to advocate
for change at the community level.
As a Counsellor, Deb employs a strengths-based, trauma informed
approach to working with her clients. She practices mindfulness in her own
life and uses this practice as a tool for wellness in the work she does with
clients. She has spent much of her career working with youth and young
adults, as a teacher, coach, facilitator, counsellor and as a youth outreach
worker. She has grown her Counselling practice in the past few years to see
folks of all ages and demographics.
In her current practice she is accepting
