Deb has spent much of her career working with youth; as a teacher, coach, facilitator and most recently as a youth mental health worker. She is passionate about teaching skills that help young people build resiliency. Deb also has a broad range of experience facilitating groups for young people, adults and other professionals. She also has also built relationships and partnerships throughout her career as a community volunteer. She given of her time to community governance in both health and education over the past 15 years and continues to advocate for change at the community level.
Deb is a Registered Social Worker. She holds a Master’s Degree from the University of Victoria, a Bachelor of Education from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Arts from Trent University.
